Westside Campus Hosting Ceramic Tile and Printmaking Workshops

The CNM Westside Campus is hosting two series of art workshops this spring.
July 16, 2015

The first will be a “Fun and Easy Water-Based Printmaking Workshop” on April 12 and 19, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Printmaking is an incredibly versatile medium that allows both the novice and experienced artist to be creative. Through “monotype” you will explore non-toxic water-based inks, layering and stencil work to create a portfolio of multi-colored prints. The cost for this workshop is $169.

The second will be an “Artistic Ceramic Tile Workshop” on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. both days. Participants will be able to design and create their own personal multiple-tile mural. Previous art experience is not required. The cost is $94.

Both series of workshops will be held at CNM’s Westside Campus Art Studio in the WS-I Building, Rooms 103 and 104. Sponsored by the CNM School of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences Art Department faculty and staff, these workshops are open to the public.

Register through the CNM Workforce Training Center or by calling 224-5200.

The CNM Westside Campus is located at 10549 Universe Blvd. NW.
