Two Prominent Artists Speaking at CNM

Colorado-based artist Floyd D. Tunson will talk about his art tonight (Sept. 25) on Main Campus, and sculptor Sara Lee D'Alessandro will speak at Main Campus on Friday evening.

Tunson will discuss his artwork on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100. His art exhibit is currently on display at 516 Arts and will continue through Dec. 13. Tunson is considered one of the most highly regarded artists in the Rocky Mountain Region. He uses a variety of art forms, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and mixed media. On Friday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100, artist Sara Lee D’Alessandro will speak at CNM about her art. She is a sculptor living in Cuba, NM, who has immersed herself in the medium of clay for 50 years. For more info, email
