Students Invited to Workshop on the Science of Brewing

Sept. 24, 2014 -- CNM’s first “STEMinar” will delve into the microbiology and chemistry of brewing on Friday, Sept. 26, when brewers from a local restaurant will be on hand to discuss their craft.

The STEMinar (STEM stands for the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields) will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 106, on Main Campus. Any students interested in the science behind brewing are invited to attend. The brew team from the B2B Bistronomy restaurant will be the speakers.
