Students Can Boost Their Bottom Line at Financial Literacy Workshop

June 25, 2013 -- CNM students are invited to a Financial Literacy Workshop on Friday, June 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Max Salazar Hall, Room 301. Students will be able to learn about resources and services that can help them improve their financial outlook.

Presenters will include representatives from various organizations that serve students and the community. New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union will discuss how to benefit from financial resources and management. New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department will provide information on their child care services. UNM Care Plan will talk about their financial health plan. CNM Financial Aid staff will discuss financial aid and scholarships. And UNM Scholarships staff will discuss how to apply for transfer scholarships for CNM students planning to transfer to UNM.
