STEM-UP Transfer Center Open on Main Campus

A new STEM-UP Transfer Center has opened on Main Campus, providing a variety of support services for students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) fields. Services at the STEM-UP center include individualized tutoring, STEM advising, mentoring by fellow STEM students, assistance with transfer to UNM, and information on STEM degrees offered at CNM and UNM.

STEM-UP stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Undergraduate Pathways and is a national effort funded by the U.S. Department of Education to help increase the number of associate and bachelor's degrees awarded nationwide in the STEM fields. The grant also supports efforts to increase the numbers of Hispanic students and low-income students entering these fields of study.

The STEM-UP Transfer Center is located in the L Building, Room 200. Click here for a Main Campus map.
