The intensive, full-time (24 dedicated hours/week) program is ideal for students who want a structured and supportive, online learning environment. This 60-credit hour program will be offered in seven integrated blocks, with students taking three courses per block. E-textbooks will be available for all courses, and financial aid is available for eligible students.

Lissa Knudsen, Program Coordinator for CNM’s School of Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences, said, “This program is ideal for dedicated students who are not able to commute to a campus and for those that are interested in an alternative to the traditional college experience. The first cohort will have 30 slots available and applications for the program are being accepted now.”

CNM has a Memorandum of Understanding with Western New Mexico University that will allow students who obtain their associate degree in Liberal Arts online at CNM to transfer to the university where they can finish a four-year bachelors degree all on line.

"This program will not only be accessible to students who may not have been able to attend in-person classes, but it will also provide the skills they need to be competitive in tomorrow’s workforce,” Michelle Renteria, Distance Learning Achievement Coach.
