Mayor Berry to Deliver Keynote to Graduates on Saturday

Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry will deliver the keynote address to graduates during the Fall 2012 CNM Graduation Ceremony, which takes place at noon on Saturday (Dec. 8) at Tingley Coliseum.

More than 620 students graduating with associate degrees or certificates will walk in the ceremony, which will be an all-time high for a CNM graduation ceremony. Including family and friends of the graduates, as well as employees, an estimated 8,000 people will be celebrating the graduates’ life-changing achievement.

Admission to the event is free. General parking for graduates, supporters and employees attending the event will be through Gate 8 at EXPO New Mexico, which is accessible from Louisiana Blvd., just south of Lomas. Parking for graduates is free. The parking fee will be $5 per vehicle for employees, family and other supporters who are not participating in the graduation procession. Those participating in the graduation procession will receive parking permits to enter through Gate 3, which is accessible from the intersection of San Pedro and Copper Ave.
