During Winter Break, he spent 10 days cleaning, organizing, painting, and hanging shelves in the backstage room, which completely transformed the space. Mr. Damour has helped to create new courses throughout the years that have ultimately led to a new associate degree in Theatre.  When he teaches a new course for the first time, you know he has spent many months working on lesson plans.  He truly cares about helping his students learn and succeed.

Mr. Damour loves theatre’s role as a “mirror to society” and it shows. He listens to his students, inspires them, and gives them sound advice that allows them to see new possibilities and change their lives for the better.  It is these experiences that students will look back on with pride and a sense of belonging long after they graduate.
