Employees Honored With Candy Dish Awards at January Board Meeting

Jan. 11, 2018 -- At the January Governing Board meeting, several CNM employees were honored with the college’s monthly Candy Dish Awards. Seven employees were honored for rallying to gather information quickly and respond to questions for a routine, but unexpected, IRS payroll practices audit. Another employee was honored for going above and beyond in coordinating the relocation of employees in the soon-to-be-renovated Max Salazar Hall.

The IRS audit was recently concluded and there were no findings and CNM was deemed compliant with IRS code. The employees who helped lead the effort and were honored with Candy Dish Awards were: Juliane Ziter, Gerrie Becker, Susan Lederle, Michael Anaya, Wanda Helms, Wencui Yang and Veronica Gonzales.

Another Candy Dish was awarded to Peter Siebert for his outstanding work in preparing the college for the major renovation of MS. Peter came to Main Campus frequently over the Winter Break to make sure the relocation of employee offices from CHSS, MSE, SAGE and AVS went smoothly.

Congratulations to the January Candy Dish Award winners!
