CNM Veterinary Technology Program Information Sessions Set

February 20, 2017 -- The CNM Veterinary Technology program will be hosting two information sessions for those interested in the field. Registration is not required, but attendees are encouraged to arrive on time and bring a pen. The dates and times for the sessions are Monday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m., and Wednesday, March 8, at 6 p.m. Both sessions will be at the South Valley Campus in SV 100, Building 2. The South Valley Campus is located at 5816 Isleta SW, about three miles south of Rio Bravo Boulevard.

Any students interested in the Veterinary Technology program should attend one of the information sessions. The purpose of the sessions is to introduce the program and the profession, to provide academic advisement and to discuss the entry process into the Veterinary Technology program for the 2017 Fall Term.

 Information will be presented about:

  • Vision, mission and goals of the Veterinary Technology program.
  • American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) program accreditation.
  • Exciting and fulfilling features of a profession in veterinary technology.
  • Five-term sequence of this full-time associate degree program.
  • Required program courses and prerequisites
