New Friday Fitness Fundays Start This Week

Oct. 20, 2015 -- You’re invited to join fun and healthy activities such as volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, aerobic exercises, stretching/foam rolling and chair yoga during CNM’s Friday Fitness Fundays this Friday from 2-4 p.m. on the grass lawn next to the Student Resource Center (SRC) on Main Campus.

Representatives from Perfit Yoga will be on hand as well. 

Friday Fitness Fundays is the result of CNM joining the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), a nationwide initiative to make college campuses healthier by adopting guidelines around food and nutrition, physical activity and programming.

CNM’s Nutrition and Culinary Arts programs are partnering with the Fitness Department to provide students with healthy recipes and “on-the-go” exercises, as well as health-related and fitness course information.
