CNM Hosting ‘Reinventing Retirement: What’s Next’ Workshop on May 4

April 27, 2017 -- For those who are retired or nearing retirement, Central New Mexico Community College is hosting a seminar to help retirees learn how to stay engaged in the workforce through a second career or how to share their valuable knowledge as a volunteer in the community.

The “Reinventing Retirement: What’s Next” workshop will take place on Thursday, May 4, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at CNM’s Workforce Training Center (5600 Eagle Rock Ave. NE, Albuquerque).

Participants will learn how they can embrace opportunities in retirement that contribute to the local community and economy.

The workshop-style event will engage participants in self-discovery activities and there will be short presentations by speakers between the exercises. Participants will begin designing their future and determine “what’s next?” in their life’s journey.
