Albuquerque Business First accepted nominations from the public for the Non-Profit of the Year Awards, which included the categories of Foundations, Family Services, Health Services and Human Services.  According to Albuquerque Business First, nominated organizations were asked to submit an application detailing their work and sharing testimonials from those who have benefited from their services, as well as submit financial statements. The applicants were evaluated by a group of leaders in the business community with extensive knowledge of New Mexico’s philanthropic sector.

“We work hard to raise funds so that our students can have scholarships to attend CNM,” said Anna Sanchez, interim executive director of the CNM Foundation. “Being named an Albuquerque Business First honoree in the Foundation category shows that we are making an impact.”
