Mental Health

CNM’s Dean of Students Office and the Student Life Office are here to support students through any mental health and well-being challenges.

We currently offer a monthly wellness newsletter that covers many areas of mental and physical wellness.

Students

If you need support finding counseling or crisis care, please contact our office. We have many community partners who offer free and/or sliding scale counseling sessions in New Mexico.

For any housing, transportation, child care, or other community supports, please see CNM comprehensive list of community resources.

If you would like food support, we invite you to visit the Food Pantry in the Main Campus SRC Library on Wednesdays from 3-6pm.

Faculty and Staff

If you feel a student needs support or a wellness check, please use the Care/Concern Reporting Form and choose Mental Health/Wellness Concern under the nature down section.

CNM is here to support you! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Brittany Karnezis, Director of Student Life, at (505) 224-3238.
